Bev's story “I have a history of weight issues. I spent many years yo-yo dieting and obsessing with weight and calories. I also had a hip replacement aged 45. Then I had the opportunity to walk 60 miles along the Great Wall of China for charity – that was to be my turning point. I knew diets didn’t work, so I embarked on a healthy eating regime and began to exercise. I lost 3 stone, and have kept it off by eating fresh, healthy foods most of the time, and a little of what I fancy occasionally. Like you, I have birthdays, holidays and Christmas to contend with, but because I have learnt to eat healthily I never needed to diet again! Today I’m not skinny, but I am extremely fit and healthy and never get ill!”
