Profhilo Skin Rejuvenation
How does Profhilo Work?
Profhilo is an effective and natural looking non-surgical facelift treatment, it is a new discovery in facial ageing addressing skin laxity, not just filling lines and wrinkles. Made of 100% Hyaluronic Acid, it nourishes dermal cells and restores firmness of the skin. This treatment will hydrate your skin from the inside out, getting rid of any ‘crepey’ skin.
As a stabilised product Profhilo lasts in the skin around 28 days. During this time the stimulation of 4 different types of collagen and elastin takes place by slow release of Hyaluronic Acid.
The stimulation results in significant tissue improvement. Therefore, we cannot say that Profhilo is a skin booster as it also has a significant tightening / lifting effect on the tissue. It effectively stimulates production of both your natural collagen and elastin to renew your skin from within.
Thanks to the unique characteristics of Profhilo, skin condition can be visibly improved after just 2 sessions, with a 1 month interval, and only 5 injection points on each side of the face.
Profhilo can be used on a number of areas including Full face (including eye area), neck, décolletage, upper arms and hands and is suitable for practically anyone, men and women, from 30 years’ old and with no upper age limit.
Profhilo treatment can help to:
- Increase skin firmness and elasticity
- Tighten and lift skin
- Improve skin tone and texture
- Rehydrated skin
- Restore radiance

Botulinum toxin type A (often referred to as Botox) is the name of the medicine used to relax the muscles in the face. Small injections of this medicine lead to a reduction in the appearance of lines caused by frowning, laughter or age. Botulinum toxin blocks the release of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine which interferes with a muscle’s ability to contract.
Botox® is a well-recognised brand of Botulinum toxin type A and there are several other similar products available. It is mostly used to treat frown lines between the eyebrows, horizontal forehead lines and lines around the eyes known as ‘crow’s feet’.
Depending on the product used, effects can be seen as early as two-three days post treatment and can last between four to six months. Most patients require less frequent treatments over time.
- One area £150
- Two areas £200

Dermal Fillers contain Hyaluronic acid (HA). HA is a natural substance already present in the skin and body. Young skin is constantly moisturised from within by HA. Over time HA diminishes as part of the aging process which leads to dry, loose skin with reduced fullness to the face.
Dermal Fillers work by plumping up the area around the injection site. Small amounts of dermal filler are injected directly into the skin using an ultrafine needle. After cleansing the area to be treated, often a numbing cream will be applied, allowing for only minor discomfort. Treatment time is around 30 minutes on average. The patient gets an immediate natural result with smoother looking skin.
Dermal Fillers will typically last between 6-24 months depending upon the individual patient and product.
There are a variety of excellent products available including, but not limited to, Juvederm, Belotero, Emervel and Restylane.
