(Held monthly at the Chiropractic Clinic, 160 Chester Road,Garden Village, Wrexham 01978 264531. SUNDAYS 11-12.30pm 1hr 30 mins. Price per mum or couple eg mum & dad can attend.)
Both Home classes are govened by distance from Chester, 10-20 mile radius with 50p per mile travel fee applied & availability of time. Each class is a fully informative workshop covering all aspects that are required to perform a safe & beneficial massage of your off spring. Worksheets are supplied for a gentle reminder on safety precautions, benefits, essential & carrier oil usage & the massage routine itself.
Adaptation for special needs babies ( hearing & sight loss, spina bifida & cerebral palsy) is covered along with care & reading of your baby's body language progressing to how massage can be utilised as your baby grows to toddlerhood & beyond.Some work on troublesome symptoms such as teething, nappy/skin rashes & colic are looked at in regards to points, massage skills & oils to use for gentle relief.

FIRST CLASS- RELIEF OF PREGNANCY SYMPTOMS, PREPARING FOR BIRTH
SECOND CLASS- LABOUR & BIRTH
Both classes are 1 hr 30 mins each cost £45 per class, per couple.. Both workshops need to be taken. Booked from 4 months onwards, generally no later than 8 months during pregnancy, mum to be & birthing partner need to attend whoever this may be eg husband ,sister, friend ect. These can be taken generally as a small group class held at the same clinic as Baby massage tuition or as a private 1 to 1 for mum to be & her birthing partner. Once again home classes are dependant apon distance from Chester & availability of appointments. Travel charges apply. These comprehensive workshops cover key pain relieving techniques for childbirth working with SHIATSU, ACUPRESSURE, ESSENTIAL OILS, MASSAGE SKILLS & MAKKAHO STRETCHES. Exploring their use in maintaining a happy & healthy pregnancy.
Strokes, points & stretches all prepare the body for more ease of movement in labour with the theraputic power of essential oil usage. All information is supplied in note form for easy reference covering names of points, effects of oils, cost, how to use them & visual charts for finding acupressure points taught.The format is fun & very relaxing for mum many skills can be utilised for every day use to maintain & reduce stress levels weather work or family based.
De-chill in the comfort of your own home enoying a day of relaxation therapies with your friends. Inclusive of mum's to be also. Sharing your babycare & enabling yourself to socilaise & relax. This package recieves a 25% discount on all therapies chosen on the day minimum of three treatments required. The best way to touch a bit of heavan.
